  • Nice and crisp Chenin Blanc ... can agree with the others, although I don‘t see the 90 Points, more 88-89 Points. However, very good QPR.

  • Light straw-hued. Aromas and flavors of grass, green apple, guava, honeysuckle, lemon zest, minerals, and peach. Medium-light body and high acidity. Floral and fruity nose; crisp and tart palate; dry and refreshing finish. Excellent pairing with chicken, seafood, and summer.

  • From Spier Wines....

Grapes were hand-harvested, de-stemmed and slightly crushed before pressing and brief contact on the skins. Free run juice settled in the tanks overnight. The following morning the clear settled juice of the individual block selections (some kept separate and some blended) were racked from their lees and inoculated with selected yeast strains. Fermentation was temperature controlled. Maturation occurred on the fine lees for another three months to give extra body and elegance. The wine is not oaked.

This Chenin Blanc is both crisp and fruity with green guava, pear, apple and hints of litchi on the nose. A well-balanced palate and a strong finish. Perfect with friends in summer, over a picnic style meal including sesame coated chicken goujons and grilled goats cheese crottin on crisp bruschetta.****

I wholly agree with the previous reviews.....this is a very enjoyable wine, a pleasant change from Chard or SB. Then throw in it's only $7 at TW and you have a great wine. :)

Paired very well with a shrimp/cous cous/veggies in green goddess dish.

  • Very enjoyable, well made, fantastic QPR Chenin Blanc. Bright grapefruit, some floral notes, well balanced and smooth mouthfeel. Love it for the price.

  • Guava and pear on the nose. As it warms there is a bit of ripeness to the fruit forward nose. It has a bright acidity and is well balanced. Great for the price. Would be happy to have with grilled oysters.

  • Straw to pale yellow in color with pear, (strangely) bitter melon and litchis on the nose along with a floral bouquet of white flowers. Good acidity and a medium mouthfeel with pear and guava dominating. Very short finish.
For the price, it is an excellent wine.
