  • Cloudy (on the lees) , pale lemon. Aromas show fresh lemons, steely, maybe some grapefruit, and a whiff of caramel.
Medium acidity, medium bodied, and nice intensity and weight on the palate.
Flavours follow aromas … except the caramel is more prevalent. The oak treatment seems a bit more overt here. The lemon flavours tend to be creamier/lemon curd.
Would like to see less on the oak treatment. But it is a tasty and enjoyable wine.

  • Cloudy pale lemon; clean medium nose of fresh lemon and funk; dry; medium plus acidity; medium plus alcohol; medium plus body; medium plus flavour intensity; palate is much more expressive than nose - ripe lemons, croissant, sweet grapefruit and a hint of caramel; medium plus finish; drink now or in another 2 years; outstanding wine - dicey on the nose but absolutely delicious on the palate

  • Cloudy pale limoncello - lees are obvious; clean medium nose of yeast and lemon; dry; medium plus acidity; high alcohol; medium plus body; medium plus flavor intensity; palate is fairly simple and tastes like weak lemon curd; medium plus finish; very good quality; a little too one dimensionally simple - hopefully complexity will come with a bit of age
