Community Tasting Notes

Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 93 points

  • Opened and decanted two hours ahead of charred grilled chicken, asparagus, and roasted potatoes. Murky, cloudy violet color. Nose brings purple lavender, spring violets, cherry blossoms, grape compote, and fresh mint. The palate is medium, square, and supple, bringing a nice wave of dark fruit (blueberries, blackberries, plums) mixed with high-toned red fruit (cherries, strawberries) with hints of tar, beef stock, and black licorice into a smooth, extended finish. The precision and finesse on the palate is the lasting impression of this wine. Will get better so drink 2025-2035. Technical score: 93. Enjoyment score: 93.
