Better on day 2. Enticing nose of buttery oak (subtle though) and black pepper. Savoury in the mouth with a touch of green herb. Tannins still full, but not overbearing.

Ripe blackcurrant and blackcurrant leaf on the nose, pretty typical; quite intense on the palate, a bit full on for my taste but would probably have lots of fans elsewhere. Has CS character.

There is an enticing nose of red fruit herb and spice here, in the mouth this has a freshness and lightness that develops and ends with structure and tannic grip. Quite approachable now, but also with time ahead.

Medium-high intensity nose is ripe and a touch candied with red and black fruits, currant, and cassis aromas. It's medium-full bodied and balanced with more cassis and currant flavours. Juicy mid-palate with fresh acids, while fine tannins are a touch drying. Very good length on the finish. Enjoy over the next 5-6 years.
