Nice fruit currant on the nose, smooth mouthfeel, oaky tannin finish. Overpowering for a turkey and mashed potato meal. Would stand up better to a tomato dish. $18 at Specs.

Clear deep purple; clean medium nose of blueberry jam, toast and baking spices; dry; medium plus acidity; medium tannins; high alcohol; medium plus body; medium plus flavour intensity; palate is a hot jammy mess with addition of cocoa; medium finish; drink now; simple, one dimensional wine that’s not worth the price

Solid bottle! Not so much self control... or a super tasty wine... finished the entire bottle! ~ Ruby colour. Syrah majority blend with dark candied fruit. Black nose (blackberry) bordering on blue at palate. Blueberry and caramelized peaches. Blackcurrant jam Demerara sugar. Palate reminds of the inside of a wardrobe. Black pepper in early-mid palate. ~ Super new world. Bold and Fruit forward. Medium acid. Medium low tannin. Finish dips towards dry but actually finished pretty sweet, maybe almost medium?!

A globby, hefty, viscous, depth charge of a jam bomb that literally feels as heavy as it tastes. Chocolate and cocoa, vanilla and black cherry. If you are into that kind of wine, youre going to LOVE this. If you like a more refined nuanced experience, avoid this.

A bold nose of dark fruits and spice, dark black purple, in color. A full bodied in your face fruit bomb (like most Michael David wines), with blueberry, blackberry, dark chocolate with a spiced finish, if you enjoy old world wines stay away. www.winelx.com

Not as soft and smooth as the 2015, but still pretty good. Typical big, bold, rich, and powerful like most of MD's wines.
