I agree with butterscotch, honey and creamy notes, so how come I'm not thrilled with this wine? I do taste some oak. This wine is a beautiful golden color, almost Sauternes like. Not worth the $65 I paid for it. Notes written on Day 2.

This is not the best vintage I’ve tasted. However, typical Bevan Chardonnay was still there. The honey scent was my favorite part of his Chardonnay. There is no need of any residue sugar. The magic of fermentation already built a great depth of this wine.

From the outset quite a big powerful wine. Decent wallop of alcohol but this has depth and carries itself. Has a cream and fruit entry with Russian river qualities. Maybe a lemon mango brûlée Ready to go now even at this early stage.

Solid crisp and buttery forward single vineyard chard. Very mellow and rich that highlights the new world napa style.

Butterscotch, honey & citrus flavor for this creamy and full-bodied Chard.

Smells like viognier and hits like tequila.
Seriously though, interesting nose and the front end of the palate has some yummy fruit, but the finish becomes bitter with alcohol.
