Le vin commence, je crois, à se refermer. Primaire et simple le 1er soir, nettement meilleur (et très bon) le 2e. À aérer si vous l’ouvrez ou sinon, à coucher en cave, peut-être pour quelques années (ce qui est habituel pour le domaine car la grande accessibilité à l’arrivée était bienvenue mais inhabituelle).
I have always loved Joblot since the first time back in mid 1988, but these days perfection with Juliette Joblot has taken over, amazing crispy, crunchy nose and taste, pure seduction, was decanted.

A crowd-pleaser. Rich colour with a purple shine. On the nose there are sugar-coated dark fruits and raspberries, a little bit heady and wafting from the glass, spiced with quite some oak, red licorice and just a tiny bit of green (some whole bunches?). In the mouth there is good body and (after some air) a real mouth-lacquering intensity. With its velvety texture and sweetness the wine is nicely accessible now. However, there is also good structure, sound acidity on second glance and a degree of wood, that, while prominent now, should integrate over time. This is not a complex wine in Burgundy terms, but it is highly enjoyable in a ripe vintage and the QPR is terrific. Edit: The oak is integrating on day 2 and this is going strong!

Lots of cherries on the nose. On the palate the wine is very concentrated, medium strong tannins and quite long. A good amount of wood will need time to be resolved but this will be a nice drink in 5 to 7 years

Quite ripe, as the vintage would suggest, but not too ripe. This shows dark fruit more on the blue/black spectrum in a medium+ bodied package. Luckily, there's enough acidity and savory notes to keep this balanced, and it's really pretty satisfying.

Pas mauvais, juste 10-15$ plus cher que pleins de pinottes de ce niveau bues dernièrement. Fruits dense et joufflu, lui manque un peu d`épices en ce moment. Assez long et un peu asséchant. Je passe, j`ai pleins de ¨petits¨2018 en cave qui me procure et me procureront autant de plaisir.

À peine arrivé en cave, il se mérite un solide 90 et Je le vois atteindre le 91 sans problème, peut-être plus... La cuvée la plus à point en ce moment à mon goût. TRÈS bourguignonne: cassis et cerises, une tension bien dosée, des arômes floraux au nez et en bouche. Je dirais même que c’est la cuvée qui m’emmène en Côte-de-Nuits, alors que le Cellier aux Moines m’oriente en Côte-de-Beaune et le Clos Marole en Rhône Nord... Vraiment excellent.
