Medium intensity, developing aromas: waxy Honeycomb, honeysuckle, chamomile, fresh apricot and lemon rind. Medium+ body, succulent mouthfeel with medium+acidity, mediulm alcohol, medium intensity flavors: fresh macerate lemon, fresh apricot and lime zest. Medium+ length finish: very good/drink now or hold a few more years.

Genuinely Chenin-like aromas, says Loire as much as it does California. The lanolin / wet wool thing is much in evidence. Flavors prominently feature that lanolin along with white-fleshed fruit and citrus. The price precludes a high degree of complexity but this is good and offers worthy QPR.
