Not impressed. Flat, acidic expected more. Fun winery to visit though. Some fruit t on the palate but little complexity, finish is moderate to long but not exceptional in character. Nice velvet label!

Just got to bump it up a point. 5 months since my last taste and it just keeps getting better! I'm hoping by the time I get to the end of my allotment I can give it an even better score. Raymond family stands tall in my book and can be proud of this one!

Nose of black berry, red cherry, and black ink, same on the palate, big body, very tasty, fruit forward, mouth filling fruit, nearly at peak drinking so open and try is my suggestion, $33 auction bottle of Napa Cabernet Sauvignon makes for great QPR, long finish, photo uploaded.

It was okay. Drank more like a $25 bottle. Decanted for about thirty minutes - second glass was after about 1.5 hr. Third glass about 2 hrs. Not a ton of complexity. Medium length finish. Probably wouldn’t buy again for that price range.

Very good. Warm berry nose, smooth aroma, well balanced, mild pepper, nice fruit upfront that carried through the finish, mild tannins throughout. Paired well with grilled sirloin, red potatoes, and broccoli.

Good color, clarity and body. Silky Smooth/Soft wine. Upfront to through the finish this wine has vanilla and fruit. The end has a nice burst of Cranberry as well. This kind of wine should appear to most - good for a party.

n: Vanilla explosion p: surprisingly not killed with high tannin from oak. Over oaked still for me and not the nuance of minerality or fruit. 62% dark choco

Alas, wine was corked. We tried the cellophane wrap trick to get rid of the mildewy odor, but we were only partially successful. The wine showed hints of all the positives I pointed out in my earlier tasting note of 8-3-2020 but the flaw was too great to overcome. The wine was palatable with food, but I have declined to score it.

One-hour decant through an aerating funnel. Wine was clear; dark ruby. Very fragrant during decant. Nose did not subside in glass: fruit-forward aromas of blackberries, black currant jam, chocolate and plums. On the palate, the wine delivered in spades what the nose promised. Deep fruit; lots of juice; great balance! Ripe tannins but not fruit-bomb like. Structure was there to keep things in hand. Long smooth finish ending with a touch of cedar and salt. Simply outstanding.

Drank over two days. Day one was with a New York Strip and paired very well. Opened up a little and showed more on day two. Enjoyed and will purchase more.

Smooth and well balanced. Some tannins, but not overpowering, for a nice finish. I prefer a bigger, more fruity Cab, but this is still a good wine.
