First Wednesday Wine Club (Napoli in Bocca, Haberfield): Served blind. A little volatility, it's slightly dirty, carbonic maceration, red and black fruits, slight floral notes. Sour snakes and medium plus intensity acidity, medium plus intensity tannins are drying and chalky textured, jubey black fruits, plenty of alcohol warmth. I guessed young, alternative Spanish from e.g. Navarra Grenache blend

Ripe, generous and wide open for business. Luscious blackberry and spiced plum fruits. Some lavender florals and plenty of meaty/savoury nuance. There's good underlying stoniness and a saline mineral lick to the finish.

Un jus précis, croquant, coulis de framboise et de mûre, légèrement salin. L'olive noire fini par pointer le bout de son nez. Tres digeste et élégant.
