It was a nice wine, a very nice wine indeed, but in the context of competing with nine other superb US Chardonnays, it stood very little chance. A bit unfair, because by itself it's an excellent wine. Also, I felt it was way too young to drink now. Give it at least +5 years.

A totally delicious wine - - nice notes of pineapple and other tropical fruits on nose and palate. Drinking perfectly now, and I suspect it will go on for several years to come.

Medium gold color. Ripe peach and grapefruit aromas, flint, oak and florality. This Sonoma chardonnay is elegant and round, with a silky texture featuring peach and citrus on entry, flint in the mid-palate and a spicy lift in the finish.

Nose has mature mango, sweet citrus fruits, honey and vanilla/oak. Medium full body with a nice and sharp acid to hold up the wine. Really enjoyed this one, glad I have more!
