Two Hands Tasting (Deals HQ): Several vineyards for this cuvee The wine shows darker core, more depth, chocolate notes, cocoa, not so much fruit but its more red fruit than black fruit, cherries, overripe sour cherries, intoxicating perfume Palate is very smooth, juicy, elegant, shows more nerve, nice (and a bit pronounced) acidity, showing balance, med to full body, long finish

Vibrant purple color. Deep and smoky on the nose, with a mix of tart blueberries and black currants, laced with potting soil, scorched earth, eucalyptus and mint, rocky-graphite tones. The palate shows smooth but structured tannins, balanced acidity, and plenty of tart plum, blueberry fruit and black currants, everything lines up really well together. Complexities of tar, chewing tobacco, beef brisket, pepper, paprika – there’s so much nuanced savory goodness in here. Finishes with spiced black tea and violets. Really beautiful stuff that is drinking great right now. Aged 17 months in 13% new French oak, 13.8% alcohol.

2018 Two Hands Bella's Garden Shiraz was rich, smoky and spicy. The bottle was sealed under TCA-free DIAM-30 cork and a thin disk of red wax in place of a regular capsule. The Barossa Valley Shiraz was clear and deep purple in colour with some fine sediments. Aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and black pepper were followed by incense, pencil lead and smoked meat.
The mouthfeel was dry and full-bodied, with a medium level of balancing acidity and a rather high level of ripe, velvety tannin. There were flavours of cassis, black cherry, anise, vanilla and mocha in a medium spiced finish. The alcohol level was at 14.2%. The empty bottle weighed 725 grams.
According to James Halliday, the must is fermented in open vat, with whole bunch inclusions and sixteen days on the skins. The wine is raised in 14% new French oak barrels for seventeen months. The wine is named after the original founder's daughter, Bella, born on 28th July, 2002.

Australian Shiraz's unique fruity scent. I felt a bit lacking balance until the first hour of opening, but afterwards, it showed excellent wine taste with proper body and tannin feel.

Not bad for a Shiraz, had a fruity and smooth body with a slight tannin at the end.

Served w guests, this was a hit. Tastes relatively fruity/ripe but the alcohol is <14% and it’s not a fruit bomb

Nicely done in a classic style. Not at all the Aussie jam bomb I was expecting.

An excellent option as always for BBQ. Just enough power but still on the fruit side to make it enjoyable even alone.
