Drinking wonderfully. Smooth, aged tannins. Just enough fruit to make this pleasant, uncomplicated drinking. Complexity is gone though. Consider this to be at its peak.

Just acquired four of these bottles cheaply at auction ($21) in a mixed lot and was pleasantly surprised. Soft with only 20 minutes of air, but plenty of fruit remaining. Not going to improve anymore with age, but not in decline yet either.

(B-) Flat purple in the glass. The nose is soft, with cream, latte, and plums. Fruit is soft, which compliments the smooth tannin. Plum, leather, and a touch of vanilla up front. Fades on the back palate. Drink up.

You know? By Napa standards this is not an expensive Cab. But for $55 one expects a much better result. This is a simple, flabby (Cab Franc) effort. And, certainly not worth the bucks. Sadly, I have two more bottles in the cellar. Better drink 'em up. They won't be any better tomorrow.

Dark maroon. Cooked bottle I believe. Stewed fruit and BBQ sauce. Not pretty.
