  • This is good but no where close to the VR range.

  • Lived up to the hype. Super polished, stem floral aromatics. Sweet, balanced and silky palate. (02419)

  • An engaging nose of rose petal, sandalwood and spiced plum. The palate is like biting into a juicy blood plum. It has such great flesh and is velvety against the gums. There's minerally nuance just below the surface and a finish that is expansive and long.

  • A highly perfumed nose of rose petals, smoke, plums sandalwood and ginger. It is silky and expansive, with deliciously ripe fruits, sweet earth and fine acidity. Tannins are gentle and the finish bright. Great balance and a thoroughly engaging, ethereal wine.

  • Really great tasting "Arnoux Lachaux 2018" with 3 friends. We are all ok to say that's the best 2018 that we taste this Year with Bruno Clair (Clos de Beze and Clos Saint-Jacques), Benjamin Leroux (the fabulous Clos saint Denis) and L'Arlot (RSV and Suchots "the best quality for price" of all). some great wine critics do not hesitate to compare it to the Leroy estate. We didn't believe it before tasting it. Yeahhhh!!!

    Romanée Saint-Vivant 97-99

    Vosne Les Reignots 98-100

    Vosne les Suchots 96-98

Vosne Les Chaumes 95-97 (Top quality price)

    Latricieres Chamb. 96-98

    Clos Vougeot 93-95

    NSG Corvées Paget 92-94

NSG Les Procès 93-95 (top quality price)

    Chambolle M. 91-93

All we think that Charles Lachaux (and B. Leroux) will be the 2 or 3 best winemaker of tomorrow.
Only one problem, we could only buy one bottle of the best four!!

  • Slightly reductive showing hints of meat. Les Proces is a step up in concentration from Vosne Romanee Les Hautes Maizieres. Dark fruited nose of black cherry, low pitched spices with earthy structure and intensity. An elegant showcase of Les Proces with good ripeness and balance. (86-87/100)
