Interesting wine with lots of character! Pale ruby that fades to pink. Aromas of stewed cherry, cranberry, cola, and sage leap from the glass. Palate is medium body and acidity, and a little chewy with ample alcohol. Tart red fruit and cola give way to dried herbs and a pop of fresh dill. Finish is savory with a touch of smoke. Quite enjoyable wine!

Agree with RRASMUSS' last tasting note for this wine, as well as notes of others. Would like to see more fruit emerge while the tannins and greenness subside, but not sure all will come into balance. Not wild about it, not a re-buy, but I do enjoy it.

Surprisingly good for the price point and a really nice pop and pour. A little raspberry and pomegranate on the nose with a strong herbal note.
Probably nearing the end of its drinking window as there are not a lot of tannins to hold it together. Interested to visit the 2018 and keep a couple of bottles around for easy drinkers.

Surprisingly good performer the price point. I don't usually expect this much yum factor in a $25 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir. This one is packed with lots of raspberry and blackberry fruit, some black cherry, lots of barrel spice, and even a little bit of dusty minerality that comes forward after some air time. Quite pleasantly surprised!
The tannins and the finish are where you can tell it's a bargain wine. It lacks much in the way of tannic backbone, so I wouldn't hold on to this one much longer if any longer. And the finish is a little abrupt but hey, again, $25. What can you expect!? All in all a fabulous QPR wine!

Fruity yet earthy and dark, perhaps 2017 is getting past its prime as it felt less lively than bottles I've had previously
