-- bottle opened a couple days prior to this TN -- -- tasted non-blind --
NOSE: malty wort; typical Fino flor aspect; hint of spiced gumdrops; medium expressiveness.
BODY: light orange color; light bodied.
TASTE: dry; flor; slightly tawny; tons of saline umami; steely, with flashes of light tart apple; lots of flavor for a Fino, perhaps owing to the En Rama style. Low level excellent, but lacks the excitement of many other EN bottlings.

MNB: Sherry (Home (Noe st)): (blind) Medium straw-gold (fino color). Flor and high-toned almost petrol-like apple core. Floral! Honeysuckle. Lemon oil. Very light, 15% alcohol, hint of bruised apple with notable Flor. Given the color, I think this is a fino with some time open in the bottle, or bottled over a year ago.
Called: Fino, good quality, fresh but open for a while. Actual: Fino en rama (rough filtered). En Rama.... so it explains the slight added weight / oil.

Equipo Navazos makes many great sherries. This one is merely a good sherry. It lacks the intensity of the Valdespino Inocente Fino.
