A particularly fair color bottle showing very well with salted and roasted almond overlays on classic flower and pear of chassagne, ripeness of fruit coming through with some toffee, staw, and the classic wood of latour always reminds me of a barrel room. Brightness of acidity showing well. Finish ligers like european butter & vanilla flower. Not all bottles show this way. Some show prominent notes of that oxidative barrelroom wood & straw but acidity may still render them drinkable paired with food and an open mind. This was the lightest colored.

left this too long.... Tired but not dead, vestiges of the large flavor in this selection, but the fruit is pretty gone and the oxidation is visible and certainly compromising the flavor. It must have been a nice big wine in its day....

Still a youngster...classy, sophisticated, and not revealing too much. Gorgeous lemon and crushed shell. The absolute cleanest finish of any wine I've had...those lemon and mineral flavors passing briefly through almond notes and diminuendo to happy refreshed palette. With our wedding lobster bisque is was beyond sublime, but as the temperature warmed the alcohol became just a tad apparent. Hold for the foreseeable future if you can!

Started off a bit sharp and out of balance although it was too warm initially. Over several hours it continued to mellow out a bit although there was some minor heat on the backend.

A beautiful pale gold color. Incredibly well balanced with lime and green apple on the first taste. Finish is long and like satin. Nice cinnamon and spice on the finish. First bottle out of my cellar, can't wait to try it again after some age.

Talula's Table (Kenneth Square): The fill was into the neck and the cork was sound. Impressive bouquet of ripe white fruits, vanilla and toast. An opulent texture, with a long, crisp finish.

An awesome bottle of wine. Perfectly balanced. Well integrated aromas of vanilla, peaches, pears, and a hint of lemon. The mouthfeel was near perfect for me. Drank smooth and crisp. Tastes matched aromoa, with addition of floral compnents. This was quite simply one of the best white burgundy's I;ve ever had - a great pick.

While drinkable, a small but noticable trace of oxidation in this bottle prevented a score and worthwhile tasting note...

This was a really great bottle. Complex nose. Lots of fruit. Rich, balanced, and well-structured. Wish I had more.

Incredible Chassagne Montrachet. Important to be served at right temperature (not too cold)

Crustacean: Lemon marringue cake; good structure, good a’s, long bright finish. I like the cake-lemon.
