  • Nice riesling but not great. Citrus, petroleum. Quite balanced but not very complex

  • Quite muted on the nose. But with time comes apple, apricot, grapefruit and petroleum notes.

The palate is very concentrated, mineral, powerful and rich. Oily texture with a firm and balancing acidity. A sweet honey note in an otherwise very dry feeling. The aftertaste is extremely long. Very interesting wine that for sure will develop in the years to come. It is too soon to drink now but I just had to have sip to be able to follow its development. Won’t open another bottle for 4-5 years.

  • Green apple, citrus more on the dry end of the spectrum for a riesling, which is not a bad thing as it makes it easier to pair with meals (like seafood for us). It's always tempting to serve white wine quite chilled (8-14 degre), which is what I did first but later found it tasted much better at room temperature (14-18) so don't put it in the fridge or ice in between pouring glasses.
