Started out with minimal aroma, needed time to open. Aroma of black fruit, blackberry, cherry, currant, earth, light spice and cedar. Black fruit, cherry, currant, earth, spice flavors. soft tannin in the finish. Part of a larger tasting.

I was surprised by this wine. I have had some bad times with these big labels. This wine was just fine. Drinks delicately of strawberry, tobacco, and hay. Maybe a touch of rhubarb. Nicely acidic, polished in places, with some chewy floral notes out there. A "counter balanced" profile if there is such a thing. Earthy notes of dusty gravel, ash. White pepper? A bit of that happening. Overall a pleasant drinking bottle here. I'd buy this again any day.

Dark ruby red. Red raspberry, strawberry, spice, earth aromas. Raspberry, some blackfruits, spice, earth and a savoury component. Smooth, well balanced, medium finish. A great value.

This is what a friend of mine calls a C & C wine... Cheap and Cheerful, dark red, good acid, soft tannins lots of dark fruit, good length. An unpretentious wine that delivery good value pinot at a good price. I have aged these up to 5 years easily. Yummy left some for the next day...even better.

Nose - youthful, medium, red fruit. Cherry, not the ripest. Strawberry. Alcohol burn on eyes
Palate- still a bit cold. Vibrant, fruit is emerging with air. Was a bit bitter and subdued to start. Strawberry and red plum.red raspberry. Tannins emerge after you swallow. Feel the presence of oak. Cedar on finish. Finish is medium to medium plus. May be too young.

With many hours of air, it has opened up. Getting earthiness and chocolate. It came together with a few hours of air so perhaps decanting could help to drink now? Came together nicely and tastes likes a more appealing wine.

Nice red cherry and raspberry, good value for an entry level Burgundy.

Bland. Lacking any discernable taste or character. Very disappointing.

An interesting little bottle from Louis Latour. Overall, it’s not a bad bottle. Good every day wine. Decent QPR.
