This wine went down so easily - cloudy raspberry juice look, great freshness but also fruit and some interesting savoury components making it both thirst quenching and a complex meditative wine. Really nice and feels like many of the Ganevat reds so I am guessing this has not really improved but also not declined either. Why not drink it now if you are lucky enough to still have a bottle?

In Magnum, opened 2h ahead. Super fresh and beautifully balanced wine. In great drinking window now, won’t dramatically improve. Great savory and sparkly finish

Light dusty strawberry juice colour. Slight volatile but still coherent and balanced. Bruised strawberries and smokiness. Dry and precise acidity and almost piercing intensity. Red vermouth and campari with light strawberries. Great stuff. Drink now or keep for later, but do drink.

Toujours délicieux et fidèle à ce que l'on attend. Je l'ai trouvée assez épanouie, au dessus du 2020 bu récemment mais en dessous du 2019 qui m'avait fort marqué.

So pretty. Zesty red apples and crisp white cherries on the nose, laced with spiced tea, white pepper, tobacco leaf. So bright on the palate with racy acidity and dusty tannins. Wild raspberry and crunchy red apple peels, pure and vibrant fruit, tossed with complex tones of clove, pepper, bay leaf, rose petals, some mushroom broth and pickle elements. This will do nicely with three years or so, but it's delightful.

Gorgeous nose of wild strawberries, spices, and red cherries. Quite fragrant and ready to go. tart cherries, berries, and some forest notes on the palate along with great acidity and good structure. Long finish. Outstanding wine, even better than the last time I had it. 94+

13.0% - Hazy, med to pale ruby / clean, pronounce intensity - wild raspberry, black cherry, apple flesh, forest floor with a floral lift, crushed rocks / dry, high bracing acidity, med- fine grained tannin, med to light body, pronounced intensity with a persistent length. Ethereal, this bottle blossomed nicely with air and showed more depth than the previous opening a few months ago.

Remarkably pale color for a Trousseau: with its very translucent and slightly hazy raspberry red color that is borderline dark rosé, I would've guessed this was a Poulsard instead of a Trousseau. Brooding, dark-toned nose with aromas of forest fruits, some earthy Pinosity, a little bit of savory spice, light black cherry tones and a reductive hint of gunpowder smoke. The wine feels ripe, balanced and quite light-bodied on the palate with slightly sauvage yet quite clean flavors of ripe black raspberries, some fresh dark plums, a little bit of cherry-driven red fruit, light notes of spicy Pinosity, a hint of leather and a touch of sweet balsamic VA. The overall feel is quite silky, thanks to the medium-plus acidity and friendly, gently grippy tannins. The finish is ripe, sweet-toned and quite lengthy with flavors of ripe black cherries, some blackberries, a little bit of earthy Pinosity and a hint of peppery spice.
A juicy, nice and balanced Trousseau - although I must admit that the wine doesn't show much varietal typicity: based on its appearance alone, I would've guessed this was a Poulsard, whereas the aromas and the taste reminded me quite a lot of Pinot Noir (hence the multiple references to Pinosity). Honestly, the wine tasted remarkably like Pinot Noir at times. All in all, this is not a particularly complex or memorable an effort for a Trousseau and I would've welcomed a bit more firmness and structure. Nevertheless, the wine shows good sense of balance and the overall feel shows nice purity and vibrancy of fruit. It drinks very nicely right now, but I believe this could improve over the next handful of years if kept in a cellar. Quite nice.

Lovely showing - it just sang. Airy aromas of rose petals, red apple, wild strawberry, tobacco, white pepper. Crisp and fresh, dusty and savory, the wineberry, McIntosh apple peel and tart strawberry fruit is laced with broth, mushrooms, floral and spicy elements. Vibrant, exotic, expressive but I'd love to see where this goes over the next three to five years.

Pop and pour in a restaurant.
Almost like a Jura version of Prieure Roch.
Expressive nose, palate medium intensity.
Worth a try, can buy again.

Light color and a little hazy in the glass.
Slightly volatile, strawberries, olives, salty winegum, a little smoke. On the palate, there are also bitter notes like vermouth.
Drink or keep.
