Bought on release and stored in a 54 degree cellar. Immediately open and inviting on a pop and pour. Mostly cassis and red fruits. Good acid. No noticeable oak. Ready and drinking very well. Perfect match with grilled prime NY steaks. Just checked. I paid $12.97 for this. That is ridiculous.

Decanted for an hour before drinking. Was very disappointed in this wine. Not much fruit, hardly any acid, but lots of tannin and a slightly bitter finish. All in all, a very unbalanced wine. I expected much more from a Grand Cru and I hope it is just this bottle as I have 11 more.

Held its own and even surpassed a much showier '05 cab blend from Washington State that was 2x the price. Richer, meatier, more minerals, and a longer finish. Paired very nicely with a simple flank steak.

I wasn't expecting much but wow, an excellent bottle. Ripe cherries and earth. Good balance and structure. Fruit forward and not complex, but perfect with leftover pot roast and potatos. Helluva bargain.

Was funky funky at the start, but after decanting for two hours the wine realy opened up. Funk was gone and a dark plum. leather, mint nose came through. earthy and velvety on the palate, but a short finish. Nice QPR. Good weekly dinner wine.

definitely needs the full 3 hours (maybe 3 days?) to breathe, but then it mellows consierably and is a nice complement to food. It's still tannic and lean in a way that I can't really imagine will improve with several more years, but I hope I'm wrong since I have several remaining.

Very easy drinking and lush. The nose was a little muted and simple showing mostly ripe blueberries (almost blueberry-syrup) and maybe a little pepper and smoke in the background. On the palate the fruit is more plum and blackberry than blueberry, and there it also has a slight leathery flavor. It is a low acid fruit forward wine, but there's enough soft tannin to keep it from being flabby. Great value and nice weeknight wine.

Only aromas I could coax was a slight medicinal Band-Aid smell. Flabby light body with some flavors of blackberry and licorice. No hints of oak aging or any perceptible tannins. Actually adding a pinch of tartaric acid gave the glass I poured a little life, but ultimately still couldn't resuscitate this wine. Really disappointing for a St. Émilion, but then again, they'll give that Grand Cru designation to anyone. Glad I only bought one bottle to try first. Drink now through next Tuesday.

Really great for the price. There is a very appealing forresty character to the wine.

Not as bad as same of these reviews but I don't think it is headed for greatness either. But it is pleasant and makes a decent everyday wine.

Good easy to drink, low acidity. Nothing remarquable but a good quality/price ratio. Could have waited a few years. Was a bit young
