So fresh from the get-go, all red fruits, distinct oak vanillin and a slight earthy component. Medium+ bodied, nice density for the level with a growing cherry pit bitterness note through the decently long finish.
Obviously no hurry on this one, but by no means a waste to open now.

Deep smoky red fruit aromas. Dark cherry up front. Ripe . Good persistance, still with smokiness. Fair acidity. On the second day, more intensely aromatic and a touch floral. On palate seems more precise and somehow lifted. The finish more elegant. Lots of life still in this Bourgogne. Enjoyable.

Generous nose of red fruit and some earth, delicate on the palate, supple tannins, and good acidity. Relatively complex for a bourgogne, and clearly chambolle-esque. Only downside would be that I paid 65 bucks for this bottle, so QPR is kinda iffy, but if you paid 40-50ish for this, I think you would be very pleased. Excited to try to village+ bottlings.

Beautiful Bourgogne rouge from Barthod with now some more age on it to show its potential. Cherry, forest strawberries, currant combined with small spices and an autumn forest feel. Pretty balance between acidity and fruits. Good lingering finish with a mineral touch. Still young so it def needs some air to shine.

Very good right now. Due to circumstances I let it breathe for one day before consumption but I really liked it. Hints of strawberry and still some acidity. This is def drinkable now and next few years.

SLDS April 2022: Very pretty, very Chambolle like nose with cranberry, chery, slate and some smoke and apple. Has some grip along with a lovely mix of savoury and sweet fruit. Convincing length and style. Loved it.

You could fool many winelovers with that wine….It is far better then the most Bourgogne Rouge! Lovely fruit and long aftertaste , to drink now and the next 3-5 years. Could it be a Chambolle from a small producer ? It is so good…

Needs air or time. Sweet fruit on the nose with fragrant flower blossom. Freshness and acidity on the palate. Quite complex at this level but moreover very good!

Flesh and depth of fruit well above its level. Cherry and spiced plum fruits. Layered in the mouth with some floral nuance. Despite the ripeness of the wine it finishes cool and stony.

This is young but I think very promising on what was showing last night. Crunchy crisp red fruits feast from sour cherry to cranberry over to strawberries. Very balanced acidity adds to the crispness. The wine is medium + intense on the palate and finishes long with a mineral aftertaste. Oak aging shows modestly in the back but gives it just that little extra. Definitely decant for an hour or 2 to bring out the most or tuck away for a few years and hopefully be rewarded with all the tertiary treats Burgundy is famous for. Curious on how others see this wine's potential.
Needs time or give it some time in the decanter. On day one: young fruity and closed. better on day two. Not very open on the nose. Juicy, fruity palate. It's there but it doesn't come out yet.

A good wine. Needs a bit air and time to open up, but not over extracted as many other 18s.

This 2018 Bourgogne is wildly fragrant with fresh flowers, bright red berries, peppery spices, stoney minerals, soil, pungent and sweet spices.
13%abv, velvet, airy and transparent on palate with great freshness with some savoury minerals adding dimensions. Lovely wine. Ready to enjoy.

Better on day two. So give it more rest or decant. Classic wine. Ripe red fruit, present acidity. Fresh and long finish.
