Very acidic even now, despite 4-hr decant. Hint of Petrol, peach and Chrysanthemum coming through. Decent amount of sediments. For the price I paid, a well made wine. Good intro into party tonight. Will sit on other few bottles for a bit longer i guess.

I drank this last week. As others have experienced, the acid was just too up front on days 1 and 2. And I like acid. But on day 3 this was very different - balanced, savory, with great texture. Just a very well made bottle of bone-dry Riesling.
It surprised me because, while I often enjoy wines on day 2, they tend to fade after that. Not so here - if you drink now, decant aggressively for at least 12 hours, or pour a small glass and then put the bottle in the fridge for a couple days.
Will sit on my other bottles for a while.

BD 12 purchase. Not as good as other wines from the same producer (both the dry Riesling and the Pinot Blanc, which I’ve found to be outstanding). This either needs more time or should’ve used more decanting, even though I tried this over two days. It just tasted a lot like apple juice. The acidity was too imbalanced. Too bad, because the nose on this thing is amazing.
I drank this right after opening and wasn't impressed -- it seemed a little flabby, almost like apple juice. My mistake. Came back two days later (stored in the fridge with a Repour) and it was a completely different wine, with great acidity that paired well with food and was just as good on its own. Glad I have two more bottles and will be letting them rest and/or breathe before I drink them.
Great Dry Riesling. This wine is beyond bone dry and night pale yellow in the class. No petrol notes here, maybe a hint of flint. Bright lemon and green apple with chiseled acidity end to end. Nothing complex but a really quaffable wine.

Unscrewed and poured. Lemon and yeast aroma. Tart flavors of citrus, minerals. Rounder finish, with straw, apples. Vibrant, firm backbone, great staying power, primary, very young. It will be interesting to see how this develops.
It occurs to me that my flavor and aroma descriptors above are not unlike what might be used to describe a champagne or similar sparkling wine, absent the bubbles. That's not a bad way to categorize this wine, at least right now.

medium straw color. fragrant nose of citrus, no strong petrol here. palate is a blast of green apple on the attack immediately followed by strong lime fruit and lemon rind. There's quite significant note of salinity. Very crisp and clean. Paired with grilled spicy tofu and zudooles. Very nice.

One of the best rieslings I've tasted - love the crazy high acidity. Went great with greek olives and ages gouda cheese.

Similar to the 2018, but IIRC just a touch sweeter. Opened right up, drank very well.

Light straw color, dry chalky tannins with a light gooseberry fruit on opening. Worked well with some Penang curry.
