Color - Deep dark garnet with hint of Purple Nose - Medium fruit, dark berries, cherries. aged fairly rapidly as sat in glass, faded in intensity. Palate - Medium tannins with a harsh bite on mid tongue which overpowered the fruit. Did not live up to the nose. As aged in glass harshness faded but did not disappear.

A decent weeknight drinker with nothing off-putting or extraordinary on the nose or palate. Dusty mouthfeel and jammy fruits make this a good barbecue or steak wine. Great value when on sale at Costco.

I got this at Costco for $15 and wanted to see how much of a bargain it is (FWIW, the winery sells this for $40 online). I will definitely go back and purchase some more. Good Rutherford fruit. Medium body. Not a lot of tannins for a young wine.

This has sweet blueberry fruit, a pronounced vanilla note, tart acidity, and no discernible tannins. It has no significant flaws and is enjoyable enough for a weeknight wine, but tasting it blind one would be hard-pressed to identify it as a Cabernet, much less a Rutherford Cab.
Edit: the combination of sweet fruit and high acidity makes it seem manipulated to my palate.
On sale for under $15 at Costco.

Let breathe a bit after opening or use an aerator to drink right away (which is true for most). On the nose- black plums and cooked blueberries and gentle new leather smell. Taste: cooked berries, white/black pepper bite then finishes long with just the fruit flavors. Overall, good mid week casual drinking wine for the value.

Dusty dark fruit, currants, and asphalt with touches of licorice and chocolate. Open knit, with good Cabernet weight and density, and nice balance throughout.

Really decent quality for the price. The structure is there, with firm tannin to start that smooths out nicely after an hour or two decanting. Good acidity on the finish keeps you coming back. Tasing notes are dusty cedar, blueberry, blackberry, but more in the category of "fresh" than "jammy" fades off into a cigar box finish with that lingering acid.

Decent "Tuesday " wine. Especially at the price I found it at Costco. A bit flabby.

Smooth on the palette. Not sure if it was my taste buds, but mouth-feel seemed a bit muted. Nice finish.
