Lightish brick red. I like the blast of garrigue, especially thyme and sage, this gives you upfront, but there's also some mostly unwelcome weirdness going on too with a heavy duty cleaning solvent as well an outright soapiness that detracts. Diisturbingly low acid palate, dry at first but sweetening somewhat with chewing, although a serious tannic presence never emerges. Most disappointing on the dilute finish of water-and-alcohol, leaving a spiritous aftertaste. I hope this is not a represenative failure, but there is not a pathognomonic flaw here to reassure me in this regard.

Drank over 2 days. Day 1: Nose of earth with some floral framing lead to a closed down body without any great characteristics. It was pleasant but in a generic way. Day 2 is a whole different ballgame with a huge nose of earth & roasted pork. Beautiful medium full body with flavors of grille pain, cherry, more pork, and some intriguing mushroom flavors. Finish lasts for 30 seconds. A very good wine at a very reasonable pricepoint. I will drink my last bottle in 2-3 years.

This bottle left me with two distinct impressions. My first was WOW! What a great bottle of wine. Right after opening it had tons of fruit and a leathery aged component. After being open for a while it faded into a more mellow wine that was somewhat unspectacular. We paired it with pulled pork tacos, Koch's cauliflower with garlic (nice pairing with garlic) and grilled jalepenos. It gave us all quite an impression right out of the bottle. I am averaging to 89. 91 to start and 87 to end. We drank this over an hour or so. I didn't keep the remnants so I don't know if the wine came back.

Interesting. Very pale in colour, with distinct garnet and brick notes with the red cherry colour. Nose is complex, fruit is not primary, more herbal, with tar and garrigue notes, anise and red cherries. Dry and medium bodied, nice ripeness of sweet cherry fruit at first but midpalate is very dry. Some currant acidity. This is very agreeable now, it would have been interesting to see how this aged, but only had one and not sure that this has the structure for a long life.

Started off beautifully, with a delicate, complex palate and a long complex finish. After a couple hours, developed a heat in the palate and finish that made the whole package rather medicinal and unappealing.

Pure red fruit flavors. Would have preferred a little more backbone and acidity, but nevertheless a well made wine. Good crowd pleaser for guests that don't appreciate the more structured wines.

Not great, but nothing wrong with it. Disappointing at the price.

Holy bottle variation Batman! Last bottle was excellent. This bottle while not corked was horrible - no fruit, very funky and vegetal.

Good Rhone style funk on the nose and in the mouth. I enjoyed this, but you have to like the style.
