  • Light ruby with notes of blue flowers, earth, red cherry and dried strawberry with a touch of mineral, light spices, and charred toast.
A fairly intense wine with a juicy mid-palate and plenty of fruit set against a chalky-edged acid and linear frame. A well-made, fairly concentrated example that is effortless drinking. The long finish closes with blue fruits, orange peel and red cherry pip.

  • Savoury bouquet with strawberry confiture, tinned raspberries and frozen blueberries. Some evolution with cola tonic is evident; dried orange peel and spice accompany some mineral and crushed rocks.
Medium-bodied, the entry is quite sweet and intense. Flavours have a little bit of damp cloth of reduction but veer to a red cherry compote, some herbs, liquorice and mineral. Some density to the mid-palate. A hint of evolution shows a cola tonic and some savoury notes. The tannins are firm and slightly sinewy, almost brawny with the wine rather belligerent and lacking a little elegance.

  • Juicy and charming, much more so than the basic version. Kamfer and smoke is in the background, in the foreground the juicy fruit. Very nice indeed, could keep five years, I think.
