Deep ruby in colour with restrained aromas of sweet black fruit, cedar & earth. On the palate, somewhat subdued flavours of black fruit, blackberry, background oak/cedar & earth with medium to high acidity & high soft tannins. The finish is medium to long with spice & pepper ending in a chalky minerality. Might require longer cellar time for more fruit to emerge.
