  • Not a big Pinot. Some might consider it thin, but I feel it's just a soft style that avoids over-extraction and doesn't fall into the trap of those trying to compete with big Cabernets. Balanced acidity and some secondary cola flavors come out in addition to the cherry fruit notes. We've always enjoyed Pinot Noir with salmon, but many modern PN can overwhelm it. This is a very food-friendly Pinot Noir. Age-wise, I'd say this is at peak and should hold a couple more years but I'd drink it sooner rather than later.

  • On the nose- Dark black cherry, blackberry, blueberries, red raspberries, black tea, cola, red flowers, baking spices, oak, vanilla,

On the palate- Dark black cherry and blackberry, blueberries and red raspberries, black tea and cola, red flowers and baking spices, oak and a hint of vanilla on the smooth and lush finish, this wine is drinking great with over 30 minutes of air to really open up and show its stuff. I see this wine being able to age for another 3-5 years easy if not longer
