P'Aquí P'Allá; 10/7/2022-10/17/2022 (Alicante y Madrid - España): P&P. Cork in a perfect shape. Well-known winery, owned by several people since I started to drink it where everything's alright but a defined style. Predominant merlot on the nose, plums and iron ore mainly additionally coal and veggie note from CF. On the palate sounds a very old story in Fronsac, something rustic, something direct yet elegant. At this present moment shows unbalanced and little alcoholic. Short with a velvety texture at the same time. Undoubtedly I have had better bottles from here in spite winery consider 2006 one of the best vintages ever.
Abierta y servida.

I always find Fronsac wines to be a little bit rustic and this is no exception. This still has some fruity notes as well as liquorice and the tannins have fully mellowed out. It doesn't distinguish itself as particularly attractive, but it has decency and is surely correctly made. Nice in a way, though and will keep for a few more years.

Quite a deep colour, and noticeably brown; mature fruit of stewed plum and prune, quite full and round, and a little rustic. Now fully mature; for drinking rather than keeping.

This is now mature, and has turned into quite an attractive wine. It has a soft texture, quite plummy fruit, a leafy element (cabernet franc, perhaps) and is well rounded. Not particularly full or long, but decent enough for a relatively modest claret.

It is almost two years since I last tried this wine and it has developed considerably since then. It is now quite approachable, with soft, plummy fruit, some fruit cake spice and medium weight. This will certainly keep, but is enjoyable now.

I find that this Chateau really needs at least 4-5 years after the vintage before opening, otherwise it can taste totally underdeveloped. The 2006 is now worth opening.
Just entering its drinking window. Nice black fruits, plums but quite subdued. The tannins and structure are still very present with a drying finish. If a criticism, maybe a lack of fruit. But a good drinker and excellent roast beef companion.
This seems quite youthful, with fresh blackcurrant and plum fruit and some unresolved tannin. The palate is slightly dilute, but overall the wine is pleasant and may develop further.
Soft, lush and plush, this licorice, coffee, vanilla and dark cherry filled wine is a bit on the oaky side. Drink this young as it's not going to develop much more complexity.

Reasonable fruit and weight, although there is some dryness. This is not bad, but it currently lacks liveliness. Perhaps it has lost the freshness of youth, but not yet gained the elegance of maturity. It should open out in time.

Attractive, still quite youthful, sweetish claret. An uncomplicated wine, without great character at present, but maybe it will develop. For now, pleasant enough drinking.

This is not yet fully mature, but is starting to develop. Medium weight, slightly leafy fruit (from cabernet franc?). Lacks richness, but is attractive and well made.

No formal notes. Decanted 1 hour for the "Clasico". Dark color, dark fruit on nose, milky notes, not very expressive. Quite flat on palate, black fruit, some pencil lead, a bit heavy on mid palate, slighty bitterness and a short finish. It was ok to drink with food but no one liked it.

Decent for the price. Not going to get much better. Tannins still a bit grainy with just about enough fruit to provide some balance

Tannins fully resolved now. Lacking a bit of fruit, probably just the 2006 factor

A good, medium weight claret. Slightly firm on the palate, and perhaps a little rustic. Now reasonably mature.

Obvious vanilla, toast and blackcurrent on the nose. Structure is good but lacks a bit of fruit.
