Light yellow color in the glass with aromas of citrus and floral notes. On the palate, light bodied mouthfeel with fruit flavors reflecting the wine’s aromas plus a lovely touch of minerality. Good acidic balance with smooth finish.

Chilled and a bit cloudy from the temp with some gentle fizz. Apples both the sweet flesh and some tannins like from the skin. Really crisp but with lots of roundness on the finish. Great on a hot day.

I really wanted to like this wine. Well made, quality Perhaps just not my style (maybe I just like younger more approachable Gruner) or it was flawed. I found the balance off on this wine. Highly acidic and sharp without floral or fresh counter. Really buttery/creamy and even oaky (though they say on their website they use stainless steel). Tasted more like a California Sauvignon Blanc.

Light gold color, no gas, and some tartrate crystals at the bottom of the bottle.
Nose: medium/medium(+) aromas of white peach and white flowers with notes of lemon and chalk.
Medium acid, off dry, light phenolics, creamy texture, and medium(-) bodied. Medium/medium(-) clean flavors of lemon and chalk with notes of white peach. Exceptional balance, medium complexity and a medium-length light white fruit and citrus finish
Incredibly elegant and easy drinking. White fruits and citrus with great balance. A lovely wine!

This wine is very mineral driven with loads of lemon, lime and green apple. Med- body with medium plus intensity of flavors and a med plus finish. Excellent value at 15-16 dollars!

This wine is pale yellow in hue with brilliant clarity. Its aromas include green apple, lime, pepper, and slate. On the palate, it is dry with crisp and refreshing acidity. It is medium bodied with no discernible tannin or bitterness. Great QPR at $15. Very good!

In Puerto Rico, there’s a fruit called chironja. It’s a cross between an orange and a white grapefruit, and to me it has always seemed rather blandly citrusy, lacking the acid zing of the grapefruit and the sweetness of the orange, but adding nothing in return. Add some very light floral aromas and that’s this wine. It’s not bad, but it’s not something I look forward to drinking again either.
Please note: this is my first grüner veltliner. Maybe what I just described is varietally accurate; to be expected. So maybe this wine is great to someone who is looking for their grüner fix. Somehow I doubt that, but I likely won’t be getting more grüner to find out, unless someone trades me for the extra bottle of this I have.
At under $13, QPR is OK. (That last sentence was revised after the fact when I realized what I had actually paid for this wine.)

If this is a glimpse into '19 Wachau (& beyond) it bodes well. Really fine, pure, lime zest and slight herbal sprinkle, touch of salt/rock, a bit of matchstick / flint, but surprisingly textured going into a nice medium finish. Even though it's a drink now screwcap, I don't think this has a problem going out a few years, particularly given there appears to be just a bit of reduction.

taste: nice acid as it hits the tongue (pricks it!), light body, lots of strong lemon and then a little white pepper. really nice!

Dry. Aromatic. Restrained. Green fruit in the background. Acidic. A good general purpose white wine that goes with almost anything.

Pear and apricot aromas and then a whistle clean palate of stone fruit with a squeeze of lime. Nice weight to it.
