Clear light straw color, Nose of wet stones, floral and faint pear. Took over an hour open before really opening up. Palate revealed citrus , and green melon flavors. Very dry with medium acid. Nice refreshing sparkling wine.

Sparkling wine blind tasting: Tasted blind. Very nice first time around: Dark yellow color. Complex nose. Relatively unstructured bubbles. Strong finish. Originally 90 pts. By the time we got back to it for the second taste it had fallen apart. 88-89

Corks: Loire (Rossford, OH): Big nose - fruit-forward, slightly funky and bready, with rotting pears. Crisp, light, easy. Medium sweetness, good acid, fairly solid. $15

Nice sparkling wine. Dry, but not overtly so. Bright acid onthe palate, but the apple and lemon flavors comes through. Nice finish. Well worth the price.

John David Selections (Conference room): 8/27/09: Extra Dry+ in style. Bright Chenin fruit attacks the front palate, with very refreshing bubbles. Then an almost chalky mouthfeel comes on during the finish. Very nice sparkling wine at a pretty easy price to swallow.
8/21/09: Nice little bubbler, refreshing and pleasing. Clean and fresh. I'm happy.

On the nose I found lemon, honey, yeast, citrus, and sea salt. It smells like a Blue Moon! In the mouth the wine had nice bubbles. I found it to be yeasty, with lemon, bread, toast, green apple, lemon drops, and almonds. Overall, the wine showed as tart and refreshing and definitely got our palates ready for the big steak and Cabernet that came next!

Again loving this nicle little organic sparkling. 90% Chenin Blanc, 10% Chardonnay. Not sweet. Not dry. Energetic bubbles. Orchard fruit with a touch of floral. Lots of fun with great packaging. (D 5.5, F 6.5; Cent., MSW)

Smelled like candy in the bottle. A little hint of brown sugar. But on the palate, very light bodied, crisp, with tons of granny smith apples and ripping acidity. 100% Chenin Blanc. Very refreshing.

Popped and poured. This wine exhibited a very light clear color with hints of yellow and consists of 80% Chenin Blanc with 20% Sauvignon Blanc. On the nose, mineral aromas were evident with hints of citrus. On the palate, light delicate flavors of honeydew, pears and lemons were intertwined with mineral notes that led to a crisp, clean, and dry finish. HS90
