Pulled it from the cellar thinking it was time since it is not an expensive or famous chateau, man was I wrong. This wine had some life, good structure and fruits, acidity and tannin all balanced. It was as the surprise of the night. Wish I had some more bottles to enjoy in the future, don't even remember when I got this one, but I sure will remember when I drank it.

Rich and smooth. Pretty opaque for a 12yr old wine and still showing plenty of fruit on the palate with reasonable amount of acidity and smooth tannins. Very enjoyable bottle, drinking well and certainly not past its prime as others have experienced Consumed alongside a 2010 Marengo Barolo Brunate which just pipped it by a couple of pts

Light hued with a touch of mahogany at the core, rim transparent. Not much on the nose but if pushed I'd go with tea, dust and plum. Tastes soft, with a little fruit, a smoky tea cum potting compost thing and a bit of hoisin. Acidity was refreshing and added some much needed structure. Short/medium finish. Day 2, where the earlier one had fallen apart, was good. Acidity up a notch and the sense of secondary development was strong. I really liked this.

Youthful dark purple colour. Black plums, black cherries, fine leather, cigarbox, tea and alcohol on the nose. Red cherries and blackberries on the palate. Tannins are still strong, finish is medium length with blackberries and cherries.

A little overly dry & woody, even by my standards Soft fruit notes, mainly plum, a little cherry would imply a more merlot dominated blend for this vintage Still should have a few years under its belt

Open and let breath for 2 hours before drinking. Dark colour with pink rim. Smells of earth and fruit. Nice cherry, bit of plum, even some chocolate maybe. Strong tannin, medium body with a fairly long finish. Very pleasant. Got better as it aired through the evening. Could have benefited from proper decanting.

My friend Vassilis invited me for lunch at "Cellier Bistrot" (Athens-Syntagma squ.). Popped and pourred. Inky color with an almost black core and a nice pink rim. Mute nose with some meaty notes and hints oak and earth. Low level of fruit, because the wine is still very - very young. Medium-bodied on the palate with very aggressive tannins and high acidity. Flavors of spices, cherries, currants, bitter almond and minerals. Long aftertaste. A wine to drink after 5 years at least.

Medoc rules. Saugeiles Teil, hat noch ein langes Leben vor sich. Drink from now to eternity.

Black raspberry and oaky aromas, medium bodied, some dryness in the finish and green flavors are found in this fully mature wine. Drink up.

Drinkable but too young. Tight and a bit flat. Violet nose which says to me it has another couple of years before peaking.

Good VFM on day one. Real sense of complexity on the nose and in the mouth. Day two gets a bit dusty/woody. Buy when on offer.

the 88-score was only on the first day, the wine suffered from fast oxidation

Nice. Good body, dark fruit, some earthy tones, medium to long. Drank over a week ago, so no precise notes.
