  • Late night pop at home. Drank in Grassl Cru.
Appearance is clear, medium intensity, ruby colour. Legs. Sediments at bottom of bottle.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of tart red cherries, cranberries, earth, iron mineral and meat, sweet floral scents around the edges. Developed.
On the palate, dry, tart high acidity, medium- alcohol (12.5%), medium+ tannins, medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of tart cranberries and cherries, sour plum, earth, iron and meat savouriness. Long integrated woody spice finish.
Good quality but perhaps just a bit too tart for comfort. Good nose though.
