PnP. Blackberry, plum, some black olive and meatiness. Pretty classic northern Rhone Syrah flavors, but in an early drinking style. Last tasted about two years ago, and this is drinking really well now. Drink now or over the next couple of years. Not sure this will get much better, but it's really good now.

On the nose: blueberry, plums, graphite, a little leather, and a Hungarian-style dry saucisson character plays backup singer.
On the palate: the fruit shines when it is confronted with Egyptian-style kofta and a salad dressed in a Dijon-balsamic vinaigrette, both of which it danced with effortlessly. Coats the palate elegantly.
Excellent food wine, but where’s the Syrah pepper?

Tart cherries, wild animal and lavender, there’s some black pepper as well. A medium finish and body, with a paradoxical animal and refined aspect. So food friendly. Subtle, yet ripe tannins. Drink now - 2026.

Very elemental on the nose. Medium+ intensity - smoke, iron, earth, seared pork fat, and stemmy blackberry and raspberry underneath it. Manure, until about an hour after popping.
The fruit is more prominent on the palate. Medium acid, medium, just-ripe tannins. Smoke and a hint of olive on the medium finish, A fresh, very drinkable style of Syrah that still has a lot of authentic character. At $20-25 this is certainly worth the money, for fans of the Northern Rhone style.

Nose dominated with herbal and savory notes. Green olive notable. For a northern rhône Syrah so lacking in fruit on the nose would expect some manure aromas but they are not found.
Palate brings some darker fruit however still dominated by green olive. Graphite, tannins somewhat coarse and on tongue and outer cheeks.
Wouldn’t recommend based on pure delicousness but perhaps on interest if you’re searching for the breadth of Syrah expression.

Very elemental with roasted meats and pepper... Was a little better after significant air. Right now, best paired with BBQ steak or something like that... Might leave my other bottle for a year+.

Dark purple color. Aroma has lots of dark berry, dark plums, cassis, meatiness, some black olive, but the fruit is front and center. Palate has similar fruit, plus smoke and more meatiness. Medium body, medium acid, noticeable but balanced tannins. I agree with other tasters that it will benefit from a couple of years of aging. But solid wine with classic northern Rhone flavors. I can see the score going up with some age.

I really like this. Mild pepper with roasted meat flavors. Dark berry fruit. Iron. In other words, classic Syrah in a well priced package. You can drink this now but there are still tannins present so another couple years would help.

Deep purple. On the nose medium plus intensity of tobacco, smoke, potted meat, black currants, cocoa, black plums, coffee, black cherry. On the palate the wine is dry with medium plus acidity, high grainy tannins, medium alcohol and medium plus body. The flavor intensity is medium with tobacco, smoke, potted meat, black currants, cocoa, black plums, coffee, black cherry. The nose was predominantly savory whereas there is more fruit on the palate. The finish is medium with smoke, coffee, black cherry. The wine is good demonstrating balance and complexity but a bit short on the finish.

Purplish, juicy, young and vibrant. Strawberry liqueur, tart plum, sour cherry. Supple tannins. Cherry fizzy candy finish (Zotz!). Great fresh expression of Syrah. Food and gathering appropriate.

My previous score, 3 years ago, was 86. It has developed enormously since then and is now and excellent, rich and tasty wine.

A fun and simple glass of Syrah, maybe lacking depth, but good value wine and good for now.

Pours a dark purple and paired with a cheeseburger.
On the nose: olive brine, smoked meat, violets. The aromas have a weight to them and suggest the wine is heavy.
On the palate: elegant and well balanced. Notes of plums, herbs, and grippy tannins. The finish is medium with a hint of pepperiness.
Very food friendly, great qpr from Faury!

Burgundy opaque.
Nose feral.
Palate a nice density of dark fruit, hints of wildness but in a balanced way, and good acidity. Very drinkable now.
