Medium red/ruby color. Fresh aromas of cherry and berries with some hints of violets and dried herbs. Full bodied on the palate with fresh fruit, a nice acidity balance and some smooth tannins. A long finish with a spicy/fresh balance.
Much better than my previus encounters with (often thin and astringent) Bardolino. Great with salumi, prosciutto crudo and grilled chicken.
