Had it blind at the CWG in MesaMar. The color is dark red, good legs, medium body, good acidity, low tannins but present, good complexity, kind of short finish and felt like an older vintage that is losing the fruit and vibrancy. Good wine but I don’t see it getting any better.
Drink but no rush.

Needs about 30 minutes of air. Definitely more of an old world style. Great quality. Somewhat subtle nose of black cherry, blueberry, green bell pepper, graphite. Super fine tannins, good balance. Medium+ body, long finish. Nice depth and texture. Not as fruit forward as California. Left bank style. This vintage is 97% Cabernet.

The best wine in Virginia! Outstanding depth with layers of flavors. Not your every day bottle but worth the cost!
