November Dinner at Bisato (Bisato Private Dining, Seattle): Tasted blind. A note of menthol, apples, pears, and young oak on the nose. The oak stays constant throughout the tasting. Nice balance and weight right from the start, the kind that normally suggests some age, so I guessed earlier vintages first. Shows Montrachet ripe notes of honey and baked apples and less vintage characteristics (such as 2018 petroleum). Young and in need of 6-8 years, though this was perfectly fine to drink today. Thank you, Bill. 97+

Monday Burgundy Cellar Visits - Albert Morot, Méo-Camuzet, and Ramonet (Cote d'Or): Tasting at the domaine. Apple, pear, baked apple, allspice and mint with so much more, seemingly both sweet and tart. Ripe with balance from start-to-middle, then structured and highly energetic middle-to-finish. Long, lingering finish. One of the best wines I have tasted this year.

Cru Crew Wine dinner hosted by Brad England (Mara restaurant at the Four Seasons hotel in Minneapolis, MN.): Served alongside the '17, '19 and 20. Very nice wine. A step up from the '17. Some method, mint and spice on the nose. Big mid palate with nicer energy. Long finish. Outclassed my the '19 however imo.

Ramonet Montrachet: I'm a big fan of 2018 whites, and this bottle was no exception. This radiates quiet class and sophistication.
