  • Tasted at home without food. Limpid. Bright disc. Pale yellow robe with clear rim. Clean, simple nose, showing pleasant mineral notes and citrus. Light-bodied on the palate, with somewhat low acidity for the vintage (i.e. a touch flabbly, more in line with a crisp California Chardonnay with less fruit). The flavors are straightforward and mirror the nose. Short -to-medium finish. Although this is hardly high-end Burgundy, my palate still prefers it to most comparably-priced new-world Chardonnay.
