  • Absolutely bonkers. Famous Bressan pepper on top of the typical pinot nose and a storm of ideas in the mouth. There are moments where you could swear it's a young Bordeaux only to morph into an older gentleman smoking a cigar on a leather chair. Quite rustic in style. It is still pinot, with its red fruits, forest floor and wood, but it's also so much more. Feels like a Ferrari engine put inside a Cinquecento body, and by that I mean it roars and demands 100% of your attention. Drinkable now but it could not be clearer that it has many years ahead of it. I won't be opening my second bottle any time soon.

  • Medium ruby with garnet edge in glass.
Pronounced nose of pungent spice such as cardamom, white pepper, and violets; herbs like mint, and chocolate as well. Earthy, wet leaves, savory. This wine is aging very nicely. Christmas in a glass.
Palate is more fruit driven including cranberry, blackberry, and cherry. The spices, coffee, and earthiness also picked up.
Dry, med+ acidity, med tannins, med alcohol, med+ body. Long finish.
This is an outstanding wine. Drink now, but has potential for further aging.
