Enjoyed this very well tonight with a savory pork t-loin, even accounting for Jim‘s penchant for 100% new oak back in the early days (!). Exceptionally long lasting on the palate and quite full – flavored. Our last, alas.

No formal notes, but this next-to-last bottle of the 2000 vintage was still drinking beautifully. Lovely nose, and a medium+ finish.
