Decanted for 15 minutes to allow air and warming from fridge temps. The wine was a clear deep yellow to a faded rim. Floral nose. Grapefruit was the primary flavor with some mandarin orange, minerality and floral notes. The wine is medium to minus bodied, with vibrant acidity and a touch of bitterness on the finish.

Same candied apricot and lychee as the 2012 but also a mineral note on the nose. Palate shows more complexity as well with lemon curd and that mineral streak pulling through accented by bright acidity balancing out the sweetness. May need to get another 6-pack.

PnP, chilled, but better with some air and at cellar temps. The nose is attractively floral. The medium to minus bodied palate repeats the floral influence along with some mandarin orange. The acidity is vibrant, and there is just a touch of bitterness on the finish. Hats off to Fred who helped a friend bottle and distribute this wine (a blend of the 2010 & 2011 vintages), as well as a 2012 vintage, with the proceeds going to support a local Food Bank.

Dry, loads of tension, interesting. Very aromatic with floral/rose, lychee, stonefruit.
