on opening, reduction finely integrated wood, elevated acidity, minerality and tart lemon and apple all suggest another white burg imitator, but with an hour of air the lemon and white peach fruit stands apart and this really shows its spanish character. fascinating, thoughtful and delicious

Blanco supplied for our final Xtremo blind tasting of the season. No one guessed this right, but a few did guess Spain as country of origin. Quite acidic, with lots of stone fruit and some citrus. Nice freshness to this wine. Also, a very long, tart finish. I found it on the viscous side and guessed it to be either a Loire chenin blanc or a chablis. I liked this wine, and think it's drinking quite well, particularly given its youthfulness.

I would guess this is a very good Chablis. The only problem - comparable Chablis is Chablis and usually it is cheaper. Nevertheless, perfect match to trout.

Godello 100%, Alk. 14%. (95).

wood stands out as resinous, at proper temperature, this is much better balanced and more precise, certainly a white burgundy imitator. white pepper, underripe white peach, apricot, green apple and lemon. nothing at all exotic. put there is minerality, the taught bitterness of extract, and reduction. needs more time, sorely. if this were to be compared to white burg, given its apparent alcohol (14%) I'd have to suggest from younger vines of a village level site in a warm year. not quite the presion or careful delineation of flavors of a 1er

Yummy! Lots of wet pebbles, citrus zest, some golden apple, raw almonds on the nose, lots of intensity on the palate with great acidity and a fresh texture and a briny finish

A very good example of a well made local grape. Well made, not pushed or overmanaged with oak. Granted lacked a bit of structure on the acidity and felt less energetic than we thought but was very integrated, in balance and really made for very happy drinking. Solid 91

Random wines tasted during service (Oinoscent): Sampled via coravin at Oinoscent. The wine shows low intensity (probably due to coravin), the profile is very close to Louro 2019 tried just prior to this. In the palate, the wine its more powerful, high intensity, filled with elegant oak notes, medium acidity, mineral element, fresh herbs, citrus, quince, grapefruit with long finish. This is quite young, needs time to open up . It would better with food.

Deeply mineral, like biting into a piece of granite rock. In addition this was framed by distinctly floral notes. At the core a mostly citric fruit. Good tension on the palate with fresh acidity and a tightly knit texture. Supposedly very age worthy hence will try popping a bottle every other year or so. But for now not much more than a good, simple white wine – albeit with a very specific character.

This is the kind of wine I really like. High acidity, minerality, reach, and balanced.

Chablis-like, but more of tropical fruits. Integrated and complex already at young age. Very good.

Delicious, with gravel, lemon, slight salt, almost burnt matches. Tart, long finish.

pure pleasure. yellow apple, pear, creamy texture, white florals, though the fruit has a ripeness that some may interpret as sweetness.
