  • I regret not taking any notes for this wine. A very intriguing high quality wine. Really had a lot going on and got better with air, what stands out was salinity and pine tree that really stuck to my mind as standing out while there was plenty going on. Long finish.

  • Slightly oxidised, orange and orange blossom, bruised apple, a little blood, savoury spice and slight waxy notes. All of the aromas, including the oxidised note, translate to the palate, plenty of alcohol lends peppery spice, quite glycerol thick, long. Super interesting.

  • Mid gold and very bright.

Very interesting wine - took a while for the nose to sort itself out, but after 30 mins. A bit of sherry on the nose, saline and minerals and rich tropical fruits and a hint of cream . Quite complex and unusual.

On the palace painfully dry, but with good structure - but great mouth weight, quite nutty and rich - this wine needs time. Quite persistent .

This is very good wine - will be great in a couple of years. Needs food.

  • Palomino sobre suelos de tosca de barajuela ubicados en el pago de Macharnudo. No encabezado. Pajizo. La nariz, bien perfilada, tiene matices de frutos secos, especias exóticas (cúrcuma), notas de hierba de infusión (manzanilla) y algo de tiza. En boca entra bien, con carácter, afilado, bastante salino, notable longitud.
