Terrific acidity and expressive citrus and peach notes on the finish. This wine is an amazing value for the price...you would think this was made in Spain!

There aren't too many Napa Albariños, but it definitely is a grape that needs to be planted more in the U.S. This wine is very much like its Portuguese and Spanish cousins, tho a little fatter and less tart, and certainly distinct from the Umpqua Valley (OR), Paso Robles and Edna Valley versions I've tasted. A great alternative to the far-too-ubiquitous Napa Valley Chardonnay.

Like all of Hendry wines, this is of quality and a crowd pleaser. My experience with Albariño has been limited, but of the Albariño that I've tasted, this ranks as one of the best. When I visited Hendry in Napa, our hostess mentioned that other winemakers are eager to buy Hendry Albariño grapes for their own labels: I can understand why. You won't go wrong buying Hendry wines, regardless of the varietal.

Very delicious. Light, aromatics of grass and weeds. On the palate, we got melon and grapefruit and maybe a little lemon. Nicely complex, yet light. Mild acidity.

Very nice. Bright with good acidity. I get melon with maybe peach. There’s a slight waxiness which gives a long but slightly less pleasant finish

Perfect blend of acid and citrus, slight minerality as well.

Very vibrant Albariño. Strong fruit, floral and lemon curd notes. Body is full and taste is balanced with a lasting finish. Excellent with paella.
