Higher dosage but quite drinkable, neither excessively ripe nor very minerally, just a likeable entry level champagne. For $20 a step up from the more lean and awkward Crémant you might usually find. Good brunch bottle.

Perfectly serviceable Champagne that hints at all the hallmarks --yeast, white fruit, nice mouthfeel with notable acid to back it up--without feeling regal enough to overthink it. Tasty

From memory. Nice fruit, with just enough toasty richness and yeasty elements to make it interesting. Medium bead. Good value- worthy of stocking up to have on hand for weeknight bubbles.

Retail $40. 46% Pinot Noir, 37% Pinot Meunier, 17% Chardonnay. My second bottle of this Champers in as many months and I like this one just as much as the first (maybe more). Similar notes.
Retail $40. 46% Pinot Noir, 37% Pinot Meunier, 17% Chardonnay. I was doing something that I had promised my wife I would not do: I went wine shopping. I had not intended to *buy* anything, but I happened by the Kroger on Shepard here in Houston and it was the last day of their bi-annual (or is it semi-annual?) 20% off sale. Among other interesting wines, this was on sale for $25 and then was another 20% off. Twenty bucks for a champagne? Yeah, I will give that a whirl. Solid nose of fresh citrus and brioche with bits of minerality and salinity. Nice. The palate is equally fantastic: bright, zingy, but also loaded with that yeasty yumminess that defines champagne. Yum. Twenty bucks? I had to resist every bone in my body to go out and buy more before the sale ended. It helped that my wife took my keys.
Medium gold Medium (+) nose of brioche, red apple skin, decaying oranges, acacia, ripe lemon, hazelnut Dry (but RS is ridiculously high for a dry wine), high acidity, medium alcohol, medium body, medium (+) intensity and medium finish
Its a very good quality wine if you open it and leave under a wine saver for a long while. Popped and poured, it was more like an acceptable to good quality wine. I mean it really didn't give me much more than a headache and sugar rush till day 3 when the complexity opened up and the mass of residual sugar felt more integrated. If you are popping and pouring, might I suggest this as GFCO (Good for cocktails only). Some serious forethought and a champagne saver might makes this far more palatable.
im not a huge fan but some will mark this high just because its $25/bottle

This was oh so nice... crisp, green apple flavors galore with meyer lemon in the backdrop carrying it for a nice length finish. Not super fine mousse but the palate more than made up for it. A great brunch compliment.

Pale lemon in color.
Nose of citrus, yeast, brioche, spices, sea salt, minerals and green apples.
Medium bodied with high acidity.
Dry on the palate with limes, light grapefruits, citrus, green apples, herbs, yeast, sea salt and spices.
This is a nice entry level Champagne. Tangy and spicy. Good by itself and better with food.
Needs 30 minutes to open up properly.
A blend of 46% Pinot Noir, 37% Pinot Meunier and 17% Chardonnay.
12% alcohol by volume.
89 points.
$35.

Notes from blind tasting:
Red apple, lemon, red cherry pit, almond, cheesecake, herbal.
Med + acid, med body definitely a blend with predominantly red grapes.
Ethereal, good but nothing special.
At $20 it doesn't need to be special.

Brut. Beautiful harmonious notes. Green apple, some yeast, brioche. A little exotic/citrus. Creamy.

I can’t remember another sparkling under $30 that was this good—and it’s a champagne!! Not particularly complex, but absolutely delicious.

Light and soft. A wonderful champagne for the price that it was presented at. Almost a surprise.
Slightly fruity, notes of peach and lychee.
