Incredible, I just saw that Jasper Morris gave his best Burgundy score of 2019 to these Reignots, even ahead of Romanée Conti !!! Finally someone who recognizes the true genius of this winegrower. And more, I am very proud of my palate. If I had a bottle, I would uncork it to celebrate. Buy everything, even villages, before prices explode
It's been almost a year since I told myself that the 2018 Reignots from Arnoux-Lachaux is certainly one of the greatest Burgundy that I have tasted in my life. Well, Reignots 2019 is THE greatest wine (all appellations combined) that I have tasted in my life !!! Everything is there, without forcing, a stellar wine, dazzling, with unparalleled finesse. If anyone has a bottle to sell me while the price is still human ... Apart from that, I have too much work these days with the wine fairs in France but I will soon comment on all 2019 of this domain which for me, for 3-4 years has become one of the 3 best domains of Burgundy with Leroy and DRC. And I bet it will overtake the other 2 in 2018 and especially 2019.
La Romanée Saint Vivant and Les Suchots are also sublime and there is not a wine, even the villages, that I would dare to rate less than 93-94 points. In more general, whether it is Burgundy, Bordeaux (Saint-Emilion), Côte de Rhone (Condrieu and Chateauneuf du Pape) or even Spain (Pingus), 2019 is slowly becoming the biggest year I have known in 35 tasting. But it is yet to be confirmed.
