  • Wasn't overly impressed on first day (92-93ish at most), the stuffings were there , honeysuckle, butterscotch, vanilla with a lively acidity but somehow didn't really come together and match the high scores given.

On 2nd day, was quite a different beast, alot more body balanced with fine acidity and what a finish of pure chardy nectar. Its like having the best freshly squeezed juicy lemonade you ever had and thought why aren't all lemonades like that. And wow what a long finish.
Clearly a wine that would benefit from a little more age to bring the components together.

  • Salil Birthday

Wonderful Nose. Classic notes, but also tropical and floral? Banana, white chocolate and macadamia? Honeysuckle/tons of white flower. Killer acidity. It is almost oxymoronic: both powerful and delicate, balanced on a knife's edge. Intuition says this is perfectly-structured.

  • Nose of light coconut and lemon.
Palate leads with tart and dense lemon, chalky minerality, saline. Med+ acid and a bit of a bite. 13% Alc.
    Good stuff.

  • Lysere gul, blåskjell duft, sjø, mineralsk, fruktdrevet, mer syre, sitron, syren ligger litt utenpå særlig ved åpning. Føles litt ung, flott vin, men trenger mer tid.

  • Very pale yellow. Vibrant and enticing, this offers a mix of classic Chablisienne aromas with some deeper and riper fruit and just a hint of oak. There's notes of green apple, cracker-y lees, passionfruit, lime, chalk, white flowers and spice. Medium bodied with bright, lively acidity this is very slightly big boned in texture, but still quite lively. This appeals to the side of me that likes von Winning.

  • Intens og balansert GC Chablis. Aroma med preg av sitrus, mineraler, lemmoncurd mm. Medium+ fylde med frisk syre og god lengde. Oppleves som saftig og balansert. Ung, men drikker ok med god lufting.

  • Mildly reductive, mouthwatering acidity. Not sure it lives up to the Kermit hype but it's a very well made Chablis.
