Sweet cherry fruit nicely balanced with a touch of spice and acidity on the finish. Benefits from a 30 minute decant. While drinking well not sure it warrants its price point.

Very easy pinot to drink; balanced, low acidity, low tannins, lots of fruit; was great on day 1. Day 2: still a strong nose but it's starting to lose some of the fruit; the oxidation is very obvious and more than you'd like; a little bitter aftertaste and finish.

Really good. Opened for an hour before drinking but would have been fine without it. Good balance of fruit and tannins. Medium body which made it very enjoyable.

Solid appellation offering from Kosta Browne. Medium color and weight. Pure red fruit, pomegranate seeds, red raspberry and a definite layer of baking spice. Extremely nice if not remarkable. Enjoyed by all, but not the standout of the night but at a price point that indicated it should have been.

Medium light bodied at first. But an hour later and wow. Got fuller with grippy tannins and medium plus acidity. Red fruit and warm baking spice. Drink now-2026. This one has a little time on its side.

Oenocosmos tasting (Athens Hill): The wine is more fragrant than the Sonoma tasted before, more floral, the fruit is more sour, cherry, pomegranate, silky, thin oak and spicy frame. In the palate, the wine shows medium body with more pronounced tannins that are still a bit tight now, red cherries, currants, there is no herbal element here, medium body and long finish

Very good, nice lift of fragrance. Can age more to be interesting. Typical Pinot with more, aging will definitely make it more interesting. A lot going on and seems like will get better.

Dinner at Chris and Stephanie's, second wine of the evening, paired with first course of tomatoes and burrata (excellent...). My first time with this designate
Medium/light ruby color. Nose showing bright red fruits, strawberry, rose petal. Smooth and expressive palate of raspberry, red berries, orange zest and black tea. Light and elegant texture. Medium/light body, long (ish) finish.
Really nice wine, fruit from this appellation tends to produce more restrained and elegant wines (in my experience). Nicely made, still very young. Will be nice to see how this ages

Has lots of potential, but way too young at the moment. Very bright and a bit wound up at the moment. Will hold my other bottle for at least 2-3 years.

Beautiful, balanced wine. Great strawberry fruit, get the flavor and acid. Nice to see them making balance wines again.

Dark fruit and a bit heavy for a pinot. Shut down? Not super impressive at this stage.
