  • Tasted at Cristom Winery tasting room. Fermented 43% whole cluster, aged for 11 months in 33% New French oak. Light to medium ruby crimson color. This too is a delicate wine that has good acidity but is quite balanced and soft on the tongue. It does have a bit more structure and stuffing than the McMinnville AVA wine tasted just before. Notable flavors include cherry, pomegranate, strawberry and wet stones. Medium-long finish. Enjoyable now but a couple years more in the cellar wouldn't hurt.
