PnP. Nose of honeysuckle, Tupelo honey, and light notes of petrol and rubber tire. Palate delivers pear, honey and floral notes with a syrupy texture. Finish of butterscotch, pear tart, and golden apple is nice but seems to die out quickly.
Note this bottle had laid at room temperature for two years so it may have advanced aging characteristics.

This wine needs 2-4 hours of air before it unfurls at all. Don’t be surprised if it seems angry at first. After a while it settles into a groove, pumping lemon, saline and fennel from a deep reservoir. When I first opened it there was this giant hole in the mid-palate. Over time it filled it, and gained weight and depth to spare. I suspect a couple of years in the cellar would make a lot of sense, maybe longer. Very dry, so use it like a trocken.

This is very young, so decant for at least one hour. Upon opening it was very thin, almost strident, but after about one hour it opened up beautifully. Other notes on this wine are very accurate. This has the potential to be very good. Glad to have gotten my full allocation and wish list.

A new addition to the lineup of desire lines just got this today and had multiple bottles so thought i would try one. It has a wonderful streak of lemon running thru it, and it has more heft and body than the cole ranch. That being said i love Cody's deft hand in both of these rieslings and can see these being used for different types of food to compliment the wines. This wine should continue to only get better with some age for now it is a 90 ( way early in the game) with potential to go higher
13% abv. Pale straw, very aromatic. This enters clean, brisk and refreshing. Apples, pears, spice and YUM. Excellent depth and length. On the dry side relative to the Cole Ranch bottling, but absolutely delicious! Another great effort by the DL team!

No detailed notes. Had with Thanksgiving dinner and it paired quite well with the food... but once we had it on its own, we liked it less.

A great wine in need of more time. Best on day 3 at this point.
